All ECQI 2026 conference attendees are invited to submit their research to be considered for publication in a
Special Issue of the European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling (Routledge).

Psychotherapy Scope
For this Special Issue, psychotherapy is understood to include counselling, psychoanalysis, counselling psychology, and arts/play therapies.

A typical submission should include:

  • 4,000–5,000 words (excluding references)

  • Unstructured abstract: 150–200 words

  • Keywords: 4–6

  • Author bio: 50–150 words

Review Timeline
Editors will review all submissions by 16 March 2026 to determine which papers proceed to review.

Future Publication Plan
It is anticipated that the Special Issue will form the basis for a subsequent edited volume to be published by Routledge.
